These piggies look happier.
I like the skull photo. The refractions and translucency (sub surface scattering)are cool. I think it would be interesting to try and reproduce this photo in 3d. The distortions in the left eye socket are an interesting clue to the rest of the unseen environment / light source.
thank you for all your feedback! i agree that it would be interesting to try to reproduce in 3d, maybe i will make that a project sometime, although i'd be kinda rusty at it, i think... anyway, i appreciate your comments, observations, and feedback, as usual...
